PHILSSA’s external program focuses on responding to the challenges and concerns of urbanization, giving importance to addressing the urgent issues of our times and the needs of poor families and communities.
The external program is intended to address concerns on relevance, effectiveness and sustainability of the network and its interventions with regards to the ever-changing and increasingly complex social environment. It involves engagement with other stakeholders towards partnership building, development cooperation and social innovation.
PHILSSA’s external program is divided into four main components:
- Organizing and Advocacy for Urban Poor Concerns
- Organizing and Advocacy for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA)
